TRIATHLON any other members an addict?
Just curious how many other members on here are into Triathlon. I am into my 3rd year. I think the sport is even more addictive than the camaro

If they had a triathlon in SW Georgia, only the fastest swimmers would survive. But the alligators would be happy... with full bellies!

I am, although this year my schedule has been greatly reduced due to my Car Racing schedule taking precedence. I started in 2008 with Sprints but this will be my 3rd year doing the NYC Triathlon, Olympic Distance on Aug 7th. Last year I also did the Nations Tri in DC.

I have completed 2 sprints this year with 2 more already signed up for then an olympic in the fall. I finished 6 minutes faster this year than last year so I am off to an improved start. distance of the last one which is a short one was 1/4 mile ocean swim 8 mile bike 3 mile run, 57:32 was my time this year and 4th place. I am now working on my run alot more. typically i am out front in the swim and hold em off on the bike but then the runners always get me.

I'm the opposite, I'm a terrible swimmer, but I was fast on the bike and a good runner. I'm off my game this year as my schedule has been too devoted to car racing. I'm gonna regroup for next year. Sounds like you're faster than me I never come anywhere near placing anything.
