Also: Middle of next week can't come fast enough.. though I'm curious to see my T/A's seats without the covers and foam in 'em. May stop by the shop today. Apparently under the skin they look kinda like Recaros.

WINNING!! She is leaving because her sister went into labor hahaha, day of solitude.

I bet you can't wait, I would be super anxious!! Next week is a 3 day week for me. New Orleans is calling my name.

Nice. Bet there was a collective sigh from the whole room. Unless it's just you.. then solitude indeed.

As of 5 hours from now, I'll have been without it for 2 months. April 2nd. Next week though is 5 days, including the 4th. Gotta clean up the mess the fireworks guys blew up all over the driving range.

Just like every year.

Yeah, reminds me of work; same two guys and we just get stuff done. Toss one of the guys working the course in the mix and we're about to run his ass over with a mower after the third house.

Then again, it's really no different from some of these home owners. I'm not an agronomist, but if your lawn is brown.. shouldn't you water? Not getting paid to inhale dirt and dust and sneeze black all day.

As for the car, I get by. The shop is just down the road from the golf course so after work I can stop by and check out the progress. Though if I had something like Daisy.. I probably wouldn't be stopping by every 3rd day and more like EVERY day. Also went through my lock box and found the envelope with the purchase receipt for the car, someone snuck the stock sticker from the dealership in the envelope.

29,715 feels so long ago..

Pops took the truck and damnit if I had the T/A I'd be on his ass if not high tailing it to the site doin' 90. The Silverado never had it's tires roast before now.. could smell it when I got out. Drove it like a bat out of hell. I took the back roads to make sure they'd be clear of traffic and to make a safe speedy return.

...I'm ****ing freaking out.

Thanks guys. She's ok enough to text me so I'm assuming she's conscious and aware, and being a nurse she knows what to do right off the bat. So we've got knowledge and modern 2011 MY safety on our side thanks to Ford. Doesn't have OnStar, but with a nurse on board as the driver and cell phones charged..

We don' need no stinkin' OnStar.

Upside.. maybe she'll snag a Camaro Vert as her rental? We were just joking about this too last night at dinner.. Weird. o_O

Weird indeed. Glad she is okay. I have been trying to find a Camaro to rent for my wedding and everywhere says they can't promise me one. So Daisy it is. But I'm putting security around her to keep my weaseling friends away from here.

UPDATE: Just got a call from my dad. Mom's ok, just lower back pain and I'm thinking it's just an aggravated injury that she's had for a while. Swollen disc and all that jazz.

Car took a good smack to the nose and rear so I'm assuming she hit the ass and someone broke to close behind her and rear ended her. Pancaked the Milan. Thank god I had my body guy on speed dial, he's got nothing lined up so I knew he'd love a chance to keep working with the nagging family that lives down the street from him.

And with what he's done to my Bird.. this should be a piece of cake. We've got insurance on the dial and since she's not at fault (guy pulled out without looking) we should be fine. Then she gets rear ended so OBVIOUSLY not at fault now.

Downside: It's Tuxedo Black Metallic. One of the colors discontinued due to the tsunami (same metallic flake source for Red Jewel). If it can't be fixed, guess we're getting a check for the residual and going car shopping again. Sad.. she actually was digging the little bugger, with an average lead foot MPG of 27 combined.

Then again, the way she drives like a granny (until I started driving we averaged 33 combined.) I don't think she'll miss the fuel economy drop if we can find an LS rental. Fingers crossed that she didn't screw up her back and her 'ice cream' is a rental Camaro!

Be back later dudes and dudette. Gotta drive the Milan over to the shop and drop it off. Gonna stop over though first to his house to see if he's even there (home) or at the shop.
