I have the Holden window trim in the magazine shots! I had it installed the day before the magazine shots were taken.
Yes, the wheels came of another G8.

I'd put a 5mm spacer on, I like to have at least 3mm of clearance on wheels I build; I take reference from the closest point of the caliper to the wheel. They expand a bit in heat and rub.

Those are my old wheels. I have lots more clearance with my Vossen's. The old wheels made lots of people nervous.

No, you cannot use the G8 hood with the SSV or HSV GTS front ends. Due to different crash standards here in the US, the Pontiac G8 front end, and hood, are two inches longer than their Holden counterparts in Australia.
The new HSV GTS E3 front bumper does use the G8 hood. The parts alone for that conversion, without hood, are around $5000.

Sad really, that the Mad Max cars were illegal here, now legal...but now extremely ILLegal in AU...their laws governing what you can and cannot do, to a car are sooo ridiculous, its embarrassing.

The RHD conversion would probably run me over $15K. Not worth it in my book. I have a good friend who has a Falcon XB, A Falcon Cobra, and a Monaro LE here in Seattle, all are RHD and a blast to drive.

It's been a while since I updated the information on my car, and my how it has changed since January. My car is now powered by a stroked and forged 427ci LS3, laying down just under 500rwhp.
Here she is today!

For those of you who are fans of my car, I am hoping you can help me! I am entered in a contest that is underway to win a set of ADV1 Trak Function Wheels. The winner get's a set of wheels for free, and all those in the top 10 get a chance to buy a set at a drastically reduced price. I need your votes!! Please help me make the top 10!
Simply click on the following link: http://www.adv1wheels.com/forums/sho...ost-Votes-WIN!
Click Register, and fill out the registration. Be sure to uncheck both receive e-mails boxes. Log In, Click on the link again, and Vote for Entry #21!

I am horrible at photoshop and the best picture I could find to lift the wheels from was a Ferrari, so ignore the calipers, but this is what I want to put on my car, with some monster Wortec brakes behind them!

Thank you for your votes!
