Yeah, kinda like a hot girl...until she opens her mouth and got snaggleteeth.
Straight off the lot, the Chally is a much better looking car imho.

I look at it this way. The Stang isn't a bad looking car, but you gotta add a little to make it look mean. The Chally I wouldn't touch. Looks fine the way it is. Sure, its got a big ol' ass...but its in proportion. Its not shaped like a Bartlett Pear.

I'd rock the SEMA cuda. Not a fan of the challenger (grille, tail lights, head lights - basically all the stuff they changed on the cuda), and when I test drove the mustang it made me want to shoot myself.

Maybe if I could afford a GT500 with the 6-speed, but that 5-speed is horrible!

And they're still using it in the '10s...

P.S. - Get rid of the fogs and this would be sexy as hell.

And this is perfect as is.

Well it's not surprising since they are basically giving the Challengers away.

and as for biases. I've been to the Mustang forums and yes they are very biased towards their car just like every other forum. However, I heard many of them say that they hate the new style of the Mustang so it's not just opinion. Even some hardcore Mustang fanboys agree with us.
No,no. You forgot the rule of the message board.
1st-see concept car......love concept car
2nd-see production spy pics.......assume the worst,declare car a bust
3rd-see production pics......act like God hates you, declare not to buy car or brand ever again
4th-see production car in person........faint praise but god still hates you
5th-order car
God,you should have been on the Nissan boards when the 350Z was first shown off, you'd think Nissan had murdered those people's families.

Guys think what you want. However I don't see many non ford guys arguing for the mustang, where the camaro is pulling customers from even the bmw and Nissan crowds.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Of couse it is, because it is the proverbial "new kid on the block". For that reason alone, not withstanding the great package GM was able to produce, the Camaro will see people crossing over from other brands.

I can see where Nissan may lose some customers from the introduction of the Camaro, but not so much from BMW. Let's just face it, regardless of the price range, people looking to buy a BMW are rarely going to cross-shop and seriously consider the Camaro.

NOT TRUE in 2002 and until now the exact words from scotts mouth is the camaro is on "hiatus" do you know the meaning of the word? This means the general always had plans to bring the camaro back. Did the sucuess of the new mustang help speed things along? Probably. But to say the ONLY reason we have a 5th gen is because the new mustang did well is pretty foolish......Dodge on the other hand Im not sure I have heard it said that since day one of the LX cars they had a two door planned but the world may never know.......
