Nah, I don't know what you're talkin' 'bout but I surmise it probably has somethin' to do with TV.

Yeah, I did, but it was very uncool for one of my colleagues. Dig, we both teach summer school in a rowdy location here in California. One of the students we share, the kid is in his early class and in mine for the second half of the day, comes into my room as the bell is sounding followed by my colleague who is asking me to call security to capture the kid. As I'm looking for the number (remember this ain't my classroom except for summer school) the kid and the teacher start tusslin' and knockin' over desks, et cetera. The kid is howlin' pejorative insults at my colleague and threats to do him down.
Mind you, my colleague lost his right hand when he was fifteen so the kid has the physical edge. The fight rolls across the room, the kid kicks boxes to the floor and even through the door that is still open. Out they go, our campus security is just a single fellow who was on his cart and closin' in on 'em. After the three of 'em are heading up to the Admin. Building, I finish writing the matter up for the records and recommence my class. Wow! The person below me had an even more eventful day at work. |
