Dang that Supra flys! That car is the only cool thing to ever come out of Toytota.

I know the guy that was driving the camera car, he was driving his 6.0 liter GTO.

Not startin crap with u because u have an opinion like anyone and everyone here, but I test drove various SS Camaros in both auto and manual and both me and my wife agreed it was roomier, yet bumpier on the road. I figured if anything the 2SS would be more comfortable than the 5.0 due to the IRS but to my surprise it was not. I also thought the brakes on my non Brembo GT were up to par to the Brembos on the SS.. My Nav with Sync we agreed was better than the one on the SS. Both me and my wife also agree that the seats were superior on the Camaro. Visibility out of the car is not even close, the blind spots on the Camaro take some getting used to. Though I like the looks of the Camaro more than the looks of my GT, the ride and overall feel was better in my Mustang. to noones surprise, my wife likes the looks of the Mustang better.. It doesn't matter to me, I like both and by next Summer plan on owning a 1SS with auto. Though Ill admit every auto SS I drove bugged me with the 4 cylinder mode(u can tell it's there, i don't know how some folks say they don't feel it), i love how roomy it felt compared to my GT.

Oh and the Mustang has been based on the Licoln LS chassis since the S197s began.. just a heads up..

That's because it's a sports car. Sports cars tend to ride hard.

You have to compare similar model years to make it a fair comparison anyway. What's the 2006 Camaro like?

Mustang is a cheaper car to begin with, and hasn't drastically changed since 2004. So comparing a brand new design and packaging for a more expensive car to a less expensive older design isn't much to brag about, in fact it should have better packaging since it costs more to begin with !
Please stop posting if all your gonna do is argue. This is CAMARO5, not G35. Every thread I read all you do is argue....

No ones seems to have mentioned yet that the OP traded in a Mustang on his Camaro.

your characterization is deceptive.... a STOCK boss killed a STOCK SS with the SS getting a hit at the start. both cars are 100 percent stock.

Looks like the majority of them basically said, "so what, exactly what is expected. . ."

This thread delivers. Some of you guys need to take a horse-sized chill pill.

1 of those cars was set up for road racing. The outcome was not a surprise. Let's give the camaro a better intake/tune and a suspension setup for road racing and see what happens.
