Yeah yours seems a little depressing hahah. But I practically live on fruit and turkey and chicken and cook all kinds of recipes. The recipes on Skinnytaste.com are my favorites!

Can't wait to get home so I can make this recipe!!! Sounds DELISH!!!

Cinnamon Swirl Protein Bread
Preheat oven to 350. Spray an 8 X 8 inch Pyrex dish with non-stick spray.

...In small bowl combine: (set aside)
1/3 cup Ideal (Xylitol)
3 tsp cinnamon

In a large bowl combine: (whisk together)
1 1/2 cups oat flour
2 scoops vanilla whey protein
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup Ideal (Xylitol) or ¼ cup Stevia in the Raw

In a medium bowl combine: (whisk together & add to lrg bowl)
2 egg whites
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (Almond Breeze)
1/3 cup or 1 4oz jar of baby food applesauce ¼ cup low sugar vanilla yogurt (optional)

Pour a shallow layer of batter into the loaf pan (about 1/4 of the batter). Sprinkle heavily with half of the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Repeat with remaining batter & cinnamon/sugar on top. Draw a knife through the batter to marble. Bake for 24 to 28 min. Let cool for 10 min. Bread will be dense.

Makes 16 sqaures
1 square =
55 calories
1 g fat
8 g carbs
5 g protein

30 Days!

Okay guys here are some semi-progress pictures. I have been doing P90X for 30 days so far and I am really enjoying it. I'm at the end of my first "rest" week, I like doing all the core synergetics stuff but the rest of it just doesn't feel like enough of a workout, ready to pick up some weights again! Overall in one month I have lost 6lbs. My goal by 60 days is to be back in the 120s.

(Sorry i'm in my skibees for the 2nd pic) lol.

Great progress BB!!!!

One of the things I did to make P90X more challenging is I bought wrist weights (2 lbs each) ...this helped kick Kenpo and the other Cardio exercises up a notch.

Thank you!

I may just do that. I have thought about buying a weighted vest as well since alot of trainers dont suggest ankle weights.

So, had a friend do body fat measurements on me using the calipers, and I HOPE HOPE HOPE the measurements are accurate!!! Cuz if so, I am down to 13% (I started at 19%) My goal was 15% and even then I thought that might be a lofty goal. So, IF the measurements/method are fairly accurate then I have achieved my weight and surpassed my body fat goals!!! But ever being the pessimist, I am gonna do the measurements every few weeks just to see if we come up with the same thing consistently. Don't wanna celebrate too much prematurely, but I just can't help being excited about it!!!

Nice progress BB! I can see a huge difference in the 1st and 2nd pics! Very nice.

SS - 13% on a woman is outstanding. That's tough to achieve. Women have certain body parts (unmentionables) that account for some of that body fat % and even 17-18% is VERY lean. Congrats!

Well diet is going good, getting really hungry at night but I'm suffering through it....My carbs are about to get slimmer during the month of july and not looking forward to it, But I won't die and it will get me in the lean shape I'll need to be in for my competition...... On and BTW.......37 more days! its going so fast I can't believe it! Here's a pic I took at the gym, I feel my muscles are starting to peek through as I continue my diet!
