right as i pulled into work on nellis AFB my brakes started sqeaking really loud. Looks as though the brake pads are stuck to the rotors. I drove through a bit of construction area on base, so there's a chance that a pebble got lodged somewhere. I'm hoping that's the case. either way, i'm covered for the tow, and i don't think there's anything they can say about warranty to fix it if it's faulty because of any of my mods. nothing effects the brake system, that i'm away of...

they are going to charge $50 to remove a rim, and a rock, if that's what's wrong with it...wtf

had i not been in a hurry to get to work, and if it wasn't 100 degree's outside. and had i had something to jack my car up with, i probably would have checked it out myself. fml. i really hope the calipers are broke, now. that way they can fix it all and zero out of pocket for me...

this is what happens when you pay people minimum wage with no benefits ... employees resort to inventing their own on the job perks, such as creatively placing the pricing sticker on a kids video

welp, once the tow truck arrived, we took a look at the car. drove it around for a bit. found out it was a rock that was lodged behind the wheel, pushing the splash guard into the rotor. So car is fixed. Total cost = $0. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!!

oh, and my brand new portable dvd player i bought for my daughter to watch while on long trips was stolen on monday. car was parked halfway in my garage (garage was full of junk from moving), and evidently i left it unlocked. while i was in the house packing, someone went into my car and stole the dvd player. thank goodness it was only $130. still pissed off though...
