MIKE PASSED AWAY EARLIER TONIGHT :(
I just found out about an hour ago that my dear friend passed away...
As you can well imagine, my heart is shattered... I just knew he died today...don't ask me how, I just 'felt it'... Almost a year to the day since this whole nightmare started... He had so many setbacks along the way and spent almost a year in the hospital... He still didn't make it... There are no words... I have been sitting here sobbing so hard for the past hour  Just got back today from an amazing 4 days at Oshawa for the Camaro Homecoming... I was so happy...now I'm broken  R.I.P. Mike...the world was a better place because you were born... My life was blessed beyond measure for having you in it... Always loved, forever missed... Godspeed my dear friend... I hope you are rocking those drums up in heaven now

Oh Miss Donna I am so sorry to hear this. I know you are going through a rough stretch right now but be comforted to know that he is in the arms of Oh Mighty God and his pain and suffering are all gone. I pray that Jesus wrap his arms of comfort around you and his family right now and his loving spirit guide you.
Good friends are but a mear blessing from God that enrich our lives and allow us to know humility and kindness. You were and always be blessed to have known him.

I'm so sorry Donna :(
Today is the 9th anniversary of when my cousin passed away - so I know how today will live with you forever. I just hope that someday, when this date rolls around, you'll remember all the good and happy things about Mike, and not the tragic loss of him. I really wish I had made it to Oshawa, so that I could have given you a nice big hug. Then you could remember it while I send a ton of mental hugs your way today

I'm so sorry Donna. I can't even imagine loosing a friend. You and his family will be in my prayers. And I hope like Tessa said, one day you'll be able to think of him and not feel the hurt but remember how wonderful time was with him. Love you my Camaro-Sister!

Thanks, everyone...your kind words mean a lot to me...
I haven't stopped crying since I heard the news...I am saddened to my very core... If you were lucky enough to be friends with Mike, it was for LIFE... We worked together many yrs ago when we were kids, yet we never ever forgot the friendship we shared... I feel so blessed that I was able to re-connect with him almost 3 yrs ago, and that I got to see him again one last time when we took delivery of the 'ROCKETSHIP' (his words for my HWAY STR)... I told him over and over and over again that he built me the happiest car I have ever owned and driven in my life... Sleep well, my friend...you will be in my heart forever...R.I.P. brave soul...
