Heh. Was trimming the 'islands' on the main entrance way to the club on tuesday. Was trimming WOT on the weed whip and this V8 rumble drowns it out. I turned and just as I did this 70-71 Lucy Blue T/A rolls just inches from my hip.

In stead of a raging 'RAWR JOO D BAG BENZ!', I had to go "AW HELL YEAH!"

He knew someone saw him. Laid it out from the exit with a hard launch. 455ci of OMG gotta check my pants at 9AM.

This. Even at the course we knew what to do. So the boss.. kinda just did his thing and paid him no mind. Quick mow, set up, and chill until they let us go at 9AM

Oh, and as she stands now, before I got involved (waiting on cash and a real gameplan on where to start pulling and stripping parts)

7+ minutes of idling and runups on that one engine. Sorry for the sound quality. It was windy as all hell that day. Also was geeking out since this thing SAT FOR 15 YEARS UNTOUCHED AND JUST FIRED UP! Aside from a bitty knock she ran butter smooth for a 68 year old engine.

All thanks to several gallons of oil, a random birds nest in the carb, and lady luck. Probably will ask to sign on full time as an A&P with 'em since they're gonna need at least 3-4 to keep her working. And right now, they've only got two available and then me and one other guy working on ours.
