I'll watch it when it comes out on DVD.
The visual effects look slick enough, but I never liked Speed Racer as a kid anyway. Even that preview didn't do much for me aside from the interesting effects. |

I actually feel the opposite. I'm not into movies with real actors in them and then when the cars start crashing and stuff it basically looks like a cartoon.
 I will still go watch it in the theater though

Looks like a pretty good movie. The effects will be killer but I'm not a big fan of the conversion on some of the chars. Speed Racer, the chimp and the kid (forget his name) with the beanie are damn close, but beanie boy wasn't fat iirc.
