I love a good old-fashioned gin martini (gin, splash of dry vermouth, olive), but I rarely get them out. With all of the stupid girly "martinis" that are popular now, it looks like a girl drink. A real martini will make you breathe fire.

I never understood why these super girly drinks are even called martinis. They only thing they have in common is the glass they're served in. Thanks a lot appletini, you've ruined a man drink.

I prefer a classic gin martini, but sometimes a ketel one dirty martini will tickle my fancy. Both are the kind of thing you need to drink in a casino with a cigarette.
