I do. It's a tool used in the composition of English prose or poetry that makes it all flow cooly. It tracks sounds of syllables with the "flavor" of their impact on the composition.

I knew you would! A good example of onomatopoeia is the word "Buzz" - it sounds like what it means...
Shard is a sliver of glass, or, if you're into modern slang.... never mind...

It's an unexpected growth on an otherwise healthy body or organ that may or may not be cancerous. Wait, hold on. What's this about a slang meaning??

Dude, I follow the rules here: no looking up words in dictionaries.

Nevertheless, I strongly doubt that your selection is a word, or if it is, it is a compound scientific term that even the person who coins the word never expects to be used by another person.
This ain't playin' the game. Words shouldn't be too common, yet they must be recognizable by someone on the forum without recourse to outside sources. Remember long words are not always the best ones. I, myself, have been choosing short words that are simply not run-of-the-mill terms.

May I humbly suggest that you, Stingr69, go ahead and select a different word.

I follow the rules too, but I was curious and looked up Stingr's word.

noun
Rare . the estimation of something as valueless (encountered mainly as an example of one of the longest words in the English language).

When an important authority propounds a judgment. It was a term used in Ancient Rome that was later applied to the same sort of thing from popes.

"Ken" (Not the proper name, here. Sorry, Barbie lovers.)
