Question for the Mods - The Quote Button

When using these forums, lots of people like to attach multiple images in their posts. Lots of people also like to use the quote button to make sure their comments are directed at the right individuals, which I wholly support.

However, I've come to notice that a lot of people like to quote a person's post who attached several images which effectively posts every photo twice to a thread.

My question is this: Is there a simple way that the mods, through a simple setting or something, can prevent a quoted post from including the attached images?

Every time I go through a thread where someone has posted photos of a car show they went to, someone will undoubtedly quote their post of 50 photos and simply say, "Nice photos!"

To the mods, don't get mad at me, I'm just curious. I'm bored at work and figured I'd ask

It depends on how the OP posted the image. If they attached it to their post as a file then it will not be quoted. But if they simply used the Photobucket link and the [IMG] tags then it will be quoted. I think this is right, but I could be wrong about this.

Right, if they attach it and someone quotes, you just get the text, but if they insert an image from photobucket with the IMG tags, it'll get quoted.

It's just one of those small pet peeves I only started developing when I joined this site

I like having the pictures with the quotes.

In fact, I wish attached files would be quoted as well.

When I quote a post with images, I just delete the image reference.

What really bothers me is when someone multi quotes every post from said thread.
