IM PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im writing my congressman there is no way im letting gm do this
The original article was taken down, but I found another copy of it on google news. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't look like GM is lobbying for this higher tax or anything. It looks to me like this was just a comment from the CEO in an interview.

That said, what a bonehead F*cking comment. Come on Akerson, GM is finally coming back and you have US to thank for it. Now you want to f*ck the little guy by raising gas taxes?

My Z28 is my daily driver. Sure, that's not the most efficient choice, but life is too short for slow cars. Point is, I'm an average joe and when my gas costs $4.15/gallon, IT HURTS. Must be nice to be rich and successful enough not to care...

I'm not as burned by CAFE as I am by Akerson's call for higher gas taxes. I'm from California, I've dealt with overbearing smog nazis my whole life

I find this push to raise taxes "for the environment" totally absurd.

Going well other than being starved to death. How are things with you?

It won't be until this fall, but yes, that's the plan. I know a lot of people here don't like the look of the 18s, but I've always thought the 20s were too big, and if there would've been a wider selection of 18s last year that fit around our Brembos I would've moved down last fall.

These are the wheels I'm currently considering.

Starved to death? You trying to regain your girlish figure?

I think I prefer the look of 20's on the fifthgens, but 18's will work much better for your performance goals. What tires are you thinking about?

I like the look of the 20s, but performance wise they leave a lot to be desired.

I plan to run 305/40 MT or Nitto DRs on the rear and 245/50 Yokohama Advan S.4 up front.
