Lol!! Yes it would. Have you thought about getting rid of it if you can't find the cause of the leaks soon and save for a new blower?? I know it's not something you'd want to do, but it may end up being your only option.

Maybe he over torqued it during installation? I did that with the thermostat housing on my old small block 350 and CRACK!

Failing that, maybe the manifold gasket is leaking...

I wish I would of finshed school 10 years ago:( I decided to drop out of college 8 years ago. I'm finally decided want program I want to finish The only hard part is now 90% of my classes are online because with my 40+ hour work schedule each week. I always hated school I skipped 30 times my senior year It's pretty sad when I graduated high school back in 2001 and I'm still trying to get my associates degree:(
