If you want a manual or care about the warranty then the GXP would be awesome. Since I dont care about either my GT with a few mod's cost's less and will run with the GXP. And ive stiil got $$$$ to spare.

Can somebody please help me? I'm can't say why I'm having this dilemna, but I'm really considering getting a GXP...and my Camaro is so close...why am I even thinking about this!? Talk me out of it!

How many doors do you need? 4 or 2. Lets not pretend that the rear seats in the Camaro are roomy. I sat back there at our auto show and its not all that comfy.
Do you want to get the LS3 motor with an automatic transmission? If so, you can get it in the GXP, not with the Camaro. |

To be honest I would prefer everything the GXP offers over the Camaro except the styling...and that's very important to me. Not that GXP looks bad at all, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Camaro.

Pros/Cons of the GXP compared to the Camaro Pros. 1. 4 doors, much more room 2. ill assume it has a more comfortable ride, (sedan.) 3. This is the big one IMO. The GXP is going to be much more rare, if you owned one you'd probably never run into another G8 GXP owner without looking for one. Cons. 1. Styling. Not that its bad, but there is a really short list of cars that can beat the Camaro's Styling. 2. Weight. It is heavier so less fuel economy and less aggressive acceleration 3. Price

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

But the price is nearly the same right now...I can get a GXP for about $1k more than my as configured 2SS. So that leaves weight (which it's really not that much heavier) and styling (still a good looking car) so you see the dilemna. The other plus is I could go get one right now and get 0% at 60 months. There is no guarantee the Camaro will get 0% APR...in fact it's HIGHLY doubtfull.
