If you guys are refering to this new Mustang:

I have to say I don't care for it.
The retro thing they were going for in the last body change was semi-effective in that it mimiced the old school stangs....
but trying to "new up" a retro car is a huge FAIL.

Personally, I'm not a stang fan, but I always thought the 03-04 Cobras were perfect.

So, why screw with something good?

Oh and dslimbizkit, while a bit on the yellow side....I think your mustang looks pretty durn good, dude.

I sometimes wonder if Chevy isn't shooting itself in the foot by making the V6 so powerful. Guys (like me) who might otherwise have purchased the far more profitable V8 will be happy with the V6 at 300 HP. And the V6 has so much good stuff at it's price point that I'd be shocked if Chevy will make a dime on them. Good for us. Not so good for Chevy.
The LLT only has 273 ft. of torque, not so scary

The average consumer should be alright with 300HP

If chevy only did what was good for them they would still have a Live rear axel and a 5-speed....

Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Doesn't change the fact that its garbage.

Besides,

Ford avoided going bankrupt because they dumped every valuable sub-brand they owned.

At least they did something on their own to better their financial position. I guess you would have just held on to them and taken a loan from the government?

Better to sell off than to sell out, IMHO.

Im not blaming them for doing it, however Fazm seemed to have implied had GM left the live rear axel and 5 speed in the cars they would somehow have avoided the gov't loan issues.

More of an immature stab than a well thought out suggestion.

They do look sick.
Yesterday alone i saw to red GT Converts, and my brother saw 3 different red gt convertibles today and a grey one.
For some reason the red gt convertible seems to be selling like hot cakes
The rear grows onto you
If they upgraded their powerplants, then they would be a tough choice between the camaro.\\
Im just happy that domestic cars are well represented by the Challenger, Mustang, and of Course our Camaro!

It does look good. So does the 2009 Mustang. Some might wonder what the differences are.

It's just a thought, but do we bother calling a very slightly modified car a new generation? In reality, all Ford did was barely spruce up the boring interior and change the lights. It's basically the same car. While it is cool, it isn't new. Even the inferior engine is the same. What's the point?
