Yup. We've all been there.

When I was undecided about the color, a friend (who helped me deal with the dealer) had me take the cars home and see how they looked parked in my driveway. Odd as it sounds, it helped when choosing the color.

It's gotta look good parked in front of your house - that's where you'll probably see it most often when you're not behind the wheel.

I was favoring RJT, but it seems that color has been discontinued. I heard they were replacing it with something similar. I would like something like maroon or a deep fire-engine red.

RJT is awesome! But the new color is the metalic red used on the CTS. Visit a Cadillac dealer to see it. I think you would love it!

Thanks Ruby. I'll check it out. Good to know they still offer a dark red. Thats what I've been leaning towards. I have some ideas for custom painted rally stripes and after-market wheels.

I have such ideas too Just no $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$! Maybe one of these days. Apparently I have quite expensive taste in wheels & custom paint. :(

Don't think I haven't thought about it Deb. Its' a good looking color, but my '88 S10 was almost the same as CGM. I think I want something with a little more POP to it.

I've been saving my pennies for a long time to be able to buy a nice Camaro outright. Been putting it away in an account separate from my retirement funds. The current balance will easilly cover car and custom stripes. I have yet to price American Racing Torque-Thrust wheels. (Black with chrome outer rims.)
