I could see 30-40hp from the boltons, but I can't help but think those kinds of numbers out of a tune would grenade an engine and tranny pretty quick. Especially an A6.

Ah, that makes a little more sense. Pretty deceiving.

Difference is, when you claim rwhp, everyone assumes that the wheels are actually on the car. Manufacturers never make claims about rwhp, they advertise what the engine makes, not what it puts down.

They could have avoided a lot of headache if they had just posted the dyno graph earlier. Seems shady to me. OP said he was waiting for his webmaste rto post it on their blog...but hitting the little paperclip icon on C5 isn't that difficult to attach it to a post...

I have no reason not to trust Doc, and there is one other person on this site that got the package and had a 90hp gain. So......

Starting to change my mind, but still very skeptical

I agree that doc adds a lot of credibility to the issue, but those numbers are SO unlikely. If it turns out to be true, Bassani headers will be flying off the shelves...

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...hlight=Bassani

I don't know if he has other mods, but he had the Bassani exhaust, and intake and tune before.

Installed the headers and gained 40hp. Those are pretty big gains from just LT's, FI or not.

He says he's at about 540 right now.

If those are his only mods, that is damn impressive.
