hmm ... I can see the story now:

The Right Hounrable DGthe3, who united the western world with his combination of common-sense laws and utter contempt for political BS, will be visiting the city today. He will arrive in 'Superbeast' his armoured limosine based on the chassis of a transit bus with the scaled up bodywork of a classic Hummer H1. Its overall weight is classified but it is believed to weigh in excess of 20 tonnes and is motivated by a diesel pulled from a Peterbilt semi tractor. As always, behind the wheel is his long time friend, who he always affectionately refers to as 'Fenstick'. All hail DGthe3, our Undisputed Commandante

While details on Superbeast are sketchy, here is what we know and what we think we know:

• The upper deck has space for security personnel to provide on the move surveillance and, if necessary, return fire. There have been are at least 10 gun ports located around the top of the vehicle
  
• A section of the roof has been specially equipped so that in case of emergency our Undisputed Commandante may be air lifted by helicopter away from the danger zone without exiting the vehicle from the ground.
  
• Inside the spacious interior there is both a mobile office and lounge
• The exterior armour is said to be resistant of weapons up to and including sustained heavy machine gun fire.
  
• While the windows do not open, there is a steel plate which is able to be raised behind the glass in the passenger compartment, in case sustained weapons fire has compromised the glass. There is another plate permanently affixed under the skin of the door.
• There is also speculated to be a special safety compartment, large enough for just the Right Honourable DGthe3 and his wife, which in conjunction with the exterior armour is believed to be impervious to all current anti-tank weapons.
  
• Various non-leathal gas/smoke dispensers are located around the vehicle.
  
• The door handles are electrified when the Undisputed Commandante is inside the vehicle, unless he disables them. Its said that he is often 'forgetful' of this safety feature and security personnel have taken precautions for opening his door.
• An airbag system allows for the ride height to drop 9" in case of low bridges
  

One thing is for sure, if other limousines for heads of state have been described as rolling tanks the Superbeast is a rolling fortress.
