Disaster Relief

With the devastation thats been happening I decided I needed to do something to help. I emailed the Joplin Red Cross directly, this was the response:

Quote:
Thanks for your interest in helping the people of Joplin. The things we need the most are cash donations so we can buy the things that the families need. Thanks for your willingness to help. Mail donations to American Red Cross, 410 S. Jackson, Joplin, MO 64801

If anyone can spare a few bucks we can all make a difference together. I wanted it to go directly to Joplin but its not the only way to help.

We have to try and help were we can..

On corvette forum they have adopted ST Judes as their charity.. they run auctions for it that vendors donate the products to sell.. The people bid on it and the money goes to the charity but here is the thing... The corvette guys are very charitable... they usually bid the product up to twice what it normally sells for. My $68 wire and plug combo has sold for $114 before

people helping people... makes the world a better place
