Oh he is, apparently his name is Miguel. For some reason they can't seem to find a winner for that spot. The last people were a bunch of kids in a beat up Silverado 1500.

Is it possible to jack the front up of the truck up with a rolling floor jack and get some buddies to help you push it over? Just an idea! then repeat with the rear! I dont know if it would work,, but worth a try!!!! Bet he would come out then!!!!

Not to sound like an ass but you are not really centered in your spot either. The Toyota is far worse though. I know how you feel. I'm in an apartment complex too and I have my Silverado covered up and under a carport similar to your situation. The Camaro is in a garage. I make it a priority to center my truck every time I park it and sometimes my neighbors scare me with their parking jobs. Nothing as bad as that Toyota though.
Off topic...how do you like that cover? Do you use it regularly? Does it stay in windy conditions?

you might want to make a deal with the person assigned to the end curb space. trade spaces and give them $50 0r $100 bucks a month for helping you fix the problem.

The situation sucks OP but I wouldn't park a nice car at some shady appartments. That's like bringing a newborn home and making him/her sleep on the back porch.

Yeah I'm trying to avoid that relay box that you can kinda see on the front pic (see below for a better one). That thing is a good 3 inches into the spot and I've almost hooked it a couple times because I can't see it because the good ole Camaro sight lines. The magic formula it turns out is to open the driver door and spot the left front tire a couple inches past the line. The rear end sticks out a lot more but anything is better than parking under pine trees...

As for the car cover I only use because my car isn't a daily driver anymore. I like how the cover fits but if there is anything over 20 MPH winds the front end gets kicked up and the fabric underneath picks up dust. Dust on the interior of a car cover always leads to clear coat scratches, so you have to wash it regularly and keep an eye on the weather. Given that your in Tucson I'm sure your experiencing the same heavy winds that we are up here in Phoenix; lots of 30 MPH plus this spring. If you car isn't a DD its worthwhile, but it does require some work of its own.

Like I said I did own a home when I bought my car. Most people won't stay in a house that goes from $575,000 to $171,000 even if it has the bitchenest garage in all of Scottsdale. The area I'm in is called the Paradise Valley neighborhood, its actually one of the better places to live in Phoenix. Besides the last thing I want now is to get tied down to another mortgage and not have the freedom to move if opportunity knocks.

Calm down - If he didn't answer the door I would feel completely free to grab a floor jack and gently reposition his truck a few inches over away from your car. No biggie at all. He will never know it happened.

We have an older woman in our office that can't park her car for anything. It is ALLWAYS crooked in the parking spaces. We joke about it and kid her once in a while. She is a super nice person and a very hard worker but her parking skills leave much to be improved. Aint nothing gonna fix that.

Relax and adjust the truck over.

lol at towing the car. I have visions of a tow truck driver that doesn't give two sh!ts about your car trying to maneuver that Toyota out of that spot. I also see him "accidentally" making a wrong move and the entire passenger's side of the Toyota gets dragged across your rear driver's side quarter panel.

IMO you should offer the person who parks to your right $200 to permeantly switch spots.
You could have an slot with a curb on 1 side. I know it's an apartment complex, just just write up a contract so you don't get screwed.

Totally worth it IMO.
