Our Camaro's are NOT C5's. - Page 2

Seems like the C5 term is something the newbies have come up with. The majority term used to be 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Gen F-body. I call mine a 5th Gen Camaro, seems to make sense to me. I'm not a Corvette guy and I don't want to steal their terminology.

Like I said, I rarely see this on this forum, but rest assured, if you do, it is a car newby.

I've seen threads like SFC5 which stands for South Florida Camaro 5. I also agree on not calling it C5. I know they called the 4th gens F Bodies and the new Chargers, 300's, Magnums and Challengers LX's (LX Platforms). What platform is the 5th gen Camaro?

Zeta II. I wouldn't want to call my Camaro a Zeta... sounds like something off of star trek.

Nothing irritates me more than people reffering to a C5 and talking about a 5th gen. Well maybe all the mustang trolls but that's a close 2nd.
