So I'm going to enjoy tomorrow! Getting my hockey stripes put on @ 9am and then I'm getting my car back at least by noon. Then I'm going to pick up 2 others and we are going camaro road tripping down to Miller Park. The only bad part is I have to work on Saturday at 5:45am It's supposed to be the end of the world so who needs sleep?????

Well for starters, people aren't buying the ghost cam tune on it's own. It comes with a real tune, at no extra cost. And by playing with the cams, trifecta was able to unleash more HP. Granted the ghost cam tune has nothing to do with the new HP directly, but it did help discover it. Something better to compare the ghost cam tune would be aftermarket mufflers. Is that rice?

It changes the sound, and there's nothing wrong with that. Just like mufflers.

Also, there's no aftermarket cams for the v6 yet.

But the point of aftermarket exhaust is to free up more power by dropping weight and allowing exhaust gasses to flow more freely. I've been keeping up with the ghost cam thread since it started and the whole point is to make a V6 sound like a cammed V8. It's great that they managed to make a few more horses in the process, but in my opinion, it still seems like

Exhaust is essentially a noise maker. There is no kind of exhaust out there that will improve performance to where you will notice it. 99.99% of performance is on the intake side. When I say exhaust, I mean just axleback mufflers

And I don't think there is one post in that thread that mentions wanting to sound like a v8. Just want it to sound throatier, like it has cams. I believe the video in the first post is a v8 mustang with a ghost cam tune

Granted, I haven't really followed that thread to well.

I could understand it being rice of there were cams available for our cars. But until then, I see nothing wrong with a deeper sounding car, for essentially free.

Zero hours for me I have a rough day tomorrow have to leave my house by 8:20am so I can drop off my camaro at the graphic shop and then walk to get some breakfast and then road trip down to Miller Park
