I haven't heard of anyone loosing significant mpg with headers and a tune on the llt. but i hear the avg loss on a torque convert is 2 mpg and up to 6.

If you aren't planning on racing your car frequently then I would go with the headers/tune.

My MPG hasn't suffered much with my headers when driving normally, but I have a habit of getting on the gas in order to hear them open up. On the other hand, I'm not overly concerned with gas mileage.

I only drive mine on the weekend and I end up doing about 80% city driving so I'm lucky to see 20MPG.
