And since we're discussing "stereotypes"

I said sure thing . He paused for a moment than asked how much HP I had. I replied 426 Why? He said never mind Ill get my A$% whooped and drove off .

either that or get a PR job with Ford.

I can't even begin to tell you how with each post you increasingly wear out your welcome here.

FWIW
I thought my post was informative, well mannered and unbiased. I have raced both Camaro's and Firebird's in the mid to late 90's and some in 2001. I loved my race cars very much and was a pretty decent driver. I just may race another Camaro soon...

Please don't ban me for that last post...

For the most part, it does seem that way. Would be the same with anyof these cars I'd think.

Here in NJ, I've only ever seen women driving the newer Mustangs. Guys have heavily modded older models.

I usually find it the other way around. I don't know about fat but it certainly seems like the Mustang crowd is much younger in general than the Camaro crowd. I frequent car shows often with my car club and you can tell the difference. I think a lot of the initial Camaro buyers were older for various reasons like dealer markups and nostalgic memories of cars from their youth. It certainly seems the Camaro crowd is getting younger but it has a long way to go to get as youthful as the Mustang crowd. Not that younger means better........

A former colleague of mine was a rabid mustang fan. I used to rib him a bit with things like, "Man, you can't throw a rock in the street without hitting at least one mustang." and "If it's a man's muscle car, why is it that 90% of the mustangs I see are driven by women?" :p

Wasn't it designed as a car for "secretaries".

(no offense to anyone, but I believe I've heard Shelby himself say this)

Here's some advice on women: women may like wearing skirts, but that doesn't mean they want their man wearing one.
