A older guy in one on Saturday gave me a thumbs up while I was at a stop sign. It was a nasty burnt orange color though

I would of definitely considered the new Challenger if it came with a factory supercharged engine that can take 17psi all day long like my GT500. I could even get over the weight since modded CTS-V's are stupid fast. Even though my GT500 is roomy inside the Challenger is simply carnivorous in comparison and looks the coolest out the of three and I might just of ended up with one. For me last year the 2011 GT500 PP was any easy sell but it would be a whole different ball game if Chevy and Dodge also offered a factory supercharged engine that could handle high boost at the time I bought mine.

hoping they come out with a stock motor that can run 17lbs will never come to fruition...just not going to happen. but a built aftermarket motor that can handle it has been available for awhile now....ask me how I know

Now, if they would come out with the 426 stock, and the new 8 speed trans that supposedly handle 800ft.lbs without blinking, that would be a bulletproof fun car to have

No. That was a Chrysler plant in MI.

The only reason the Ford handles the high boost is due to the forged internals....I would still rather have a car that is more all motor than boost, which is why I would have gone with a Callaway.

I guess it just comes down to preference in the end. Both are fully capable cars, both are supercharged, both are amazing machines...

Why own a car for a year then sell it?

It seems like a waste of money to me to buy a sports car, only to keep it one year.

But hey, it's your money, not ours.

It looks like these 392s are the real deal. Most of the stock dyno tests I have seen put hp at 450+ to the wheels and near 450 tq as well. That makes the advertised hp underated, car is closer to 500hp. Bad-assed for sure. I wonder what a few bolt on mods would do?
