PS3 or XBOX 360?

Some of you guys aren't going to like this but here's the deal.

PS3 graphics are better without a doubt. The ONLY reason xbox can even come close to PS3's graphics are because the games are being produced on xbox.

The ONLY reason the games are produced on xbox is because then they don't have to make more then 1 version. If the games were modeled using PS3's true capabilities the xbox couldn't handle it and the games would have to be dumbed down to play on it. Plain and simple the xbox is holding the PS3 and gaming back and developers are saying the same thing. MW2 would have had a TEN HOUR story mode but xbox couldn't handle it so they cut it down. PS3 and PC lost out because the retarded brother of the gaming world couldn't keep up.

It's simple. If you want the best gaming console available you go and buy a PS3, if you just want to play games then you get the box.

Also I don't know how true it is since psn got hacked and live stayed up but I had always heard that xbox rented their servers from Sony and that's why the box paid for online.

I'm not against xbox users or fans at all but it really does piss me off to hear a developer say something along the lines of "well we wanted to do this but it's not compatible across the systems so we couldn't". It's not right to lose out because of an obsolete or inferior product. I can't imagine how PC gamers must feel because they could handle way more then the box and PS3 combined and have to get watered down versions of games due to the consoles.

yes ps3 has better GFX, but XBL is way more user friendly. PSN is boring and awkward. The Xbox controller is way better also. But I do love the BLu-ray player on the PS3.

But like Ive said before, PC dominates all. My PC gfx look way better than ps3. And your argument that PC is too expensive in invalid. A powerful pc will hold you over several years, there is no RROD, epic gfx, customizable, you can use KB & mouse or controllers, plus its a PC! not just a gaming platform.

I disagree. Show me where this is true. I've played several games on both consoles and the same games look either better or the same on the 360. Plus playing the same game, loading times are so much faster on the 360 and updates don;t take hours like they do for the PS3.
I'm not a fanboy, I play both consoles equally, but the PS3 is mainyl my movie watcher, and it's not even that great of a blu ray player. I've seen several blu ray players for approximately the same price that are just plain better than the PS3 with dvd's.
Both consoles have their ups and downs. This conversation is the same as the Mustang vs Camaro, and Apple vs Microsoft arguments.

Honestly, the thing that SOLD me on Xbox, besides GOW, was the controller. Its bigger and more comfortable than any controller on the market. I had to get Madcatz and Logitec controller for my PS2 because the duel shock isnt ergonomical.

I think then next generation of consoles is going to need some customization. Maybe a detachable GPU card that can be upgraded...

I agree that most games look similar graphics wise but I also explained why that is. Compare a PS3 exclusive game designed on the console and then compare it with the xbox game of your choosing and there's no comparison graphics wise. It's not a snipe at xbox, it's fact. When the game is designed on xbox then it's designed to the best of it's capabilities and then formatted for other systems but not gone over to give it the boost it should get for the systems that can handle boundlessly more.

It is fact that anyone who bought the PS3 or especially the PC versions of MW2 could have been enjoying more game for their money but xbox is not capable so the rest of us lose out. It sucks when you buy the best console there is only to have the games dictated by the lesser one. It's not even PS3 vs xbox as much as it is that xbox users should want more out of their systems. xbox players should have been pissed when MW2 was shot down cause of it. Even a little kids game like Little Big Planet was too much for it!! That's sad but it's also indicatory.

Also I would hope that a blue ray player that did nothing but play discs would be better then a PS!! That's all it has to do

I've owned both. There's a reason my X360 is at my local GameStop right now. And I owned the 360 for a year (nearly 2) before I bought my PS3. I've got the Move setup too.

Great system... aside from the current PSN problems.
