yeah, when I started playing football when I was 11 I weighed 160lbs. so I was a fat guy/lineman outright. then when I was in 7th grade our coach wanted to run a 4-3 defense and put me in at middle linebacker (cus I couldnt run fast). then I started rotating in at outer l/b positions, as well as still playing guard and tackle. then my freshman year, our center twisted his ankle so I started playing center over guard/tackle as well as linebacker, started leaning up as I grew. wrestled in the winter, lifted weights and did track/discus/shot put in the spring/summer, and back to football in the fall. my sophomore year, I was subbing in for our varsity center/Middle L/B who was 6'4", 240lbs (I was a measly 5'10", 165lbs at that point). I wont lie, I got ran over a few times that year on offense and defense. then when Artie graduated, I took over center and middle l/b for varsity, but our coaches asked me if I wanted to play more games so I volunteered not to be on the starting lineup for the varsity games so I could still play JV (for kicks and giggles). My senior year, I stopped wrestling and track & field due to my knees. I was ranked 6th in the state for most tackles that year. (side note, the guy who got the most tackles had 134 assists and 13 solos as he played safety, and their middle linebacker (who got 2nd in the state) would hit the ball runner, then the safety would run up and jump in at the last minute for an "assist" if you ask me.) but I got a scholarship awarded to me at my awards ceremony and whatnot and went off to school.pissed my scholarship away, joined the military, got sent to Iraq (turned 21 there btw...lol) had 6 on, 1 off, 12 hour schedule. ate breakfast, went to work, ate an MRE, worked, went to lunch, worked, ate another MRE, worked, got off work, went to the gym for 4 hours each night (save for my 1 day off), then ate dinner and went to bed. did that for 5 months and put on about 50 lbs while I was there. my daily caloric intake was around 6700 on average. lol
