Bin Laden DEAD

Don't mean to thread jack but this is on the same topic of the thread. Just have to vent a little. My friends wife is pissing me off big time with her comments starting last night on how Bin Laden's death is not a big deal and how it stole the thunder from the royal wedding. As an American I am insulted by these comments and will not stand for them. I've already made my stance clear to her and she keeps mouthing off about how the it'll be a big deal when the troops come home and we let immigrants legal and non legal stay here because it improves the economy. BAH!!! I do not mean to start anything remotely political in respect to the forum rules. I am merely putting in text what her comments were....

You know what torqued me? They pulled british troops back from Afghanistan to pull guard duty for that wedding. Shows you where THEIR priorities are... Anyway, that gal seems to have a very simplistic view of the world, just ignore her and remind yourself that you know better

wow, I didn't know that. Some allies we have huh? It's hard to ignore ignorance...I can't stand it. But, you're right. I will do my best to not let her get under my skin, because she wins if it bothers me.

What wedding? Who cares which rich guy gets married next. I think Bin Laden getting wacked finally, takes the cake over just about any news let alone a worthless royal wedding.

These are Seals right? The cream of the crop best of the best? They couldn't have taken him alive so that worthless POS could be tortured for info on the whereabouts of other leaders and such?!!

I want nothing more then to believe the same that this scumbag saw justice but something doesn't sit right at all.

Either way they should have taken his body and strung it up at Ground Zero so people could spit on his corpse.

It may not have only been to protect the royal family - it could have been to protect the crowds too. Can you think of a bigger terrorist target than hundreds of thousands of people gathered in one small section of a city to watch a wedding?? Somebody had to protect them...
