haha, yeah - my old scoutmaster used to tell us stories about all his old hot rods & i think it was a 57 Chevy he was in when him & a buddy came up over a hill doing about 90 when there was a semi parked at the bottom of the hill in his lane (mind you, this was when he was young, stupid, and didn't have a seatbelt law to adhere to...) the only thing that saved their lives was jumping into the floorboards because what happened when that 59 hit the malibu is exactly what happened to the top of their car as it dove up under the back end of the trailer!!

that said... it was a freakin awesome car while it lasted & gave them a story/experience they kept with them for the rest of their lives

(not that really condones any part of this story )

I just crashed my F-150 last month. I am soooo glad of those improvements! Can you imagine driving a newerish car and not having the seatbelts or the airbags, safety glass, colapsable steering column and all the rest? And always pay your insurance each month!
