You know there is a guy in a new v6 camaro running high 11s with a 150 shot i think....plus i know a ton of guys who with moderate bolt ons in the LS1 4th gen fbody cars ran high to mid 11s all the time...Not saying the new 5.0 isnt pretty bad ass...just saying it has been done with another car before and pretty easy.

Yes, very true. Nothing wrong with buying an auto, but the owners tend to get "faster" and "consistent" confused

They have bolt-on's like headers and CAI but the motor's have been un-modified.

There are two Camaro V6's that have done very low 12's and high 11's. The low 12's was only a 100-shot, I think. It seems like the L99 with a 150-shot barely scraping into the 11's should have been something of a bad pass.

I don't there's much difference at all. The 5.0s are having a lot of issues popping up and they have cheap shit trannys from china in them. I've owned 2 cobras and a gt500 and I would not purchase a 5.0. Another Shelby yes.....but not a GT.
