I like it. but i wanna see it go WOT.
Yes sir, it is. AS a matter of fact the problem will be exaggerated in higher RPMs.

The reason a "lumpy" cam sounds so lumpy at idle is because the exhaust and the intake have a chance to equalize at low speeds and you are hearing it. When the engine is at higher speeds (the ONLY place a lumpy cam's power can be realized, as you will lose considerable low to mid range power) the escaping exhaust actually pulls the fresh intake gasses into the cylinder and that's when you see the huge gains (plus the intake is open that much longer allowing more air into the intake stroke...basically you are making the end of the exhaust stroke the beginning of the intake stroke).

If you are allowing boosted intake air to escape from the exhaust valves, and I am referring to a street machine, not a highly machined 8000 hp alcohol-blown racer, you are losing power...plain and simple!

wow...

i had my stuff backwards....

I meant to say wider LSA not wider overlap for FI.

While there are better ways to accomplish the same result, I don't think that it is fair to say that this is anything less than impressive.

I love the fact that they stroked it to a 440. I used to race my dad's 70 Cuda with a 440 6-pack.

but... things I would change

4200 stall over the 3800 stall they have in it.

depending on the nitrous setup they are running, probably modify it as well.

maybe a pulley swap or a diff s/c depending on the power its making

then pull the entire thing out and throw in a twin charged 454 LSX
