I about killed myself today! Did an hour of cardio then went on to do four supersets of pullups and pushups and proceeded to go through some more circuits...finally my lungs said ENOUGH ALREADY!!! I was just about hyperventalating because of the altitude difference!!! Guess I am not as adjusted to the altitude as I thought I was! Looks like I will have to wait a little longer before I push myself that hard.
On another note, I discovered netgrocer.com and they deliver to APO boxes so I am very excited!!! I was able to find some good, healthy foods to put in my grocery cart. Just wish they advertised nutrition values on their site, so if you aren't already familiar with the product then you have no idea what is in it etc. Well, guess that is another reason why I love Google...to look up nutrition info!!! Hoping shipping will be fast!

Today is my last day today to eat like
and my diet starts tomorrow! (eating a buch of junk the last couple of days is mentally preparing me for tomorrow, kinda like getting it out of my system. lol My diet foods will be: Oatmeal and eggwhites in the morning, sweeten w/ stevia Fish.....brown rice, mixed veggies sweet potato and 4 oz. fish fish and veggies (some days I will eat chicken breast or serlion steak) but mostly fish....my fav is talapia. so thats it for 3 months, can't wait for my results by end of July! ![]() Suppiments w/ a mutivitamin Workouts friday: 3x DB Split squat: 20,20,20 lbs. 12,10,8 reps Incline Dumbell Press: 20,20,25 lbs. 12,10,8 reps Kettle Bell Goblet Squat: 40,40,40 lbs. 20,15,10 reps Dumbell side raise: 3x 12.5 lbs 10reps each Leg extentions:90,100,110 lbs. 20,15,10 reps Ball Crunches: 3x30 12 lbs. each Cable Tricep Extention Rope: 3x45 lbs. 12,10,8 reps Vertical Leg raise: 3x15 Seated calf raise: 3x45lbs. 15,12,10 reps Paramont Calf Raise: 3x140 lbs 15,12,10 reps Cardio: Ellptical, 30 min.

I did my first try at the Insanity work out today...sadly, I am still not adjusted enough to this altitude!! My muscles were like "YES, Let's Do This!" but my lungs burned like crazy!! My face usually gets red when I work out but it dissipates fairly quickly. But after today's work out, my face is still all red from lack of oxygen 40 minutes later!!
Anyway, wanted to share this great quote I just read in April's Oxygen Magazine: "Eating does not begin with putting food in your mouth. It begins before that, when you decide what to eat. If it doesn't bring you toward your goal, it pushes you away." ~ Tosca Reno I think looking at food in this light, will help ME PUSH certain foods away rather than THEM PUSHING me away from my goal (ie Crunch N Munch!! LoL!!!)

I'm hard on myself, because I'm looking to get into law enforcement. I now have a physical agility test this saturday, that I'm sure I'm going to embarass myself in. I should find the time to at least run a bit once a day.

Weight loss
I'm not a scale person by all means but I went jean shopping yesterday. I love my Silver Jeans even though they range from about $75-90. Maurices had a deal going on buy one get one half off ha! I use to be really big in high school I used to wear a size 22:( I got some new Silvers yesterday and I'm a size 14 now
Nothing to brag about but when I look back from 10 years ago it makes me happy I'm hoping I'm running like my dad's side of the family the older you get the more weight you lose![]() I still need to focus on getting to the gym more
