But, that wasn't the point of the comparo, also you can get a 6 cylinder Genesis for 25k, just a loaded 2LT V6 Camaro can run over 30k, so the V6 Camaro is still it's direct competition, no matter how you slice it. Yes, you can get a V8 Camaro for around 32k, but it is comparably a stripper and a remotely comparable Camaro (the Camaro has the same issue here it does with comparison to other cars in that the Genesis offers more equipment than the Camaro does)is going to run around 38-39k.

Look back over the tests of the SS... if you follow all he MT numbers the SS runs the quarter in 12.9 to 13.3 depending on what the comparison was against..so as someone else stated its about creating a buzz to sell magazines. Not really to get the facts out...
