Range Rover—who'da thunk?

First off, this isn't a racing story. I was in the far left lane on the freeway behind someone else. I see a Range Rover in the rear view. Not exactly riding my bumper, but a little close than I'd prefer. I was coming up on my exit, so I punch it and get over (nice day so I figured I'd let her breathe a little). Apparently he punched it too, because he was hanging in there. I got off and we parted ways, and that was it, but this led to some Googling when I got home. Guess these things are pretty fast I'm thinking it was probably one of the sport models, supercharged and with 510 HP. Damn! Not bad for an SUV.

Yeah, I guess the base price is over 80K or something. I guess it serves a purpose, but I would never spend that much on an SUV. If i had 80K+ to spend on a car....oh, the possibilities

I'd buy an SS... do some mods and have $40,000 left. Sometimes enough is enough. You can't get anything that great for $80K... Z06 I guess if you like Corvettes... I dont. Give me $150K... and thats a different story. opens up a whole new league.

Give me a 550 hp Porsche Cayenne Turbo S anyday! If I had a bunch of money that would be my first purchase. 130K!
The Range Rover is nice though. I'd take a 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8. Those things look sweet. Something about an SUV that is faster the majority of cars on the road is just awesome lol.
