Thanks everyone for the input, I'm fine with swapping it out since I'm sure that running at lower temps will make most parts last longer.

I agree with that 100%. Owen seems to be top notch, and I have nothing against the thermostat because as you know, I'm having one installed during the next phase of my build. At least I think I told you.

You did, I just wasn't sure why. Rarely is there a post on here regarding the 160 thermostat.

So Nick, are they doing a complete engine build for you? Basically swapping out your L99 for a custom built LS3?
