Rich From Back Street Performance Injured

Just wanted to let everyone know about Richj. He is a member here and owner of Back Street Performance.

He took a spill off of one of there lifts while wrestling/working with one of their cars on Tuesday April 12th.

He is out of ICU now, but was injured pretty bad and is still in the Hospital. He had several broken ribs, a few cracked, broken scapula and pelvis, as well as a cracked vertebra.

Please keep his healing, recovery, and rehab in your prayers; obviously keep his wife and son in your prayers as well as they run the shop without him and travel back & forth to see/visit him.

Rich is a tough guy. He is on his way to recovery, but that will take months. We had scheduled a Pedders Day for May 21st at Beck Street. We are making a change. It will be a get well party for Rich. We are inviting everyone that can make it to the RICH JOHNSON GET WELL PARTY on May 21st. Rich will be there if we have to hold electric wheel chair races to drag him in. We'll have food and a BIG CAKE.

Pedders is a family owned business in Australia and in the USA. Our Dealers are all family owned businesses and we take care of our own. I'll be at the party to support Rich as will some of my very best Dealers. The Dealers are coming to help out with the party and to hopefully write sales orders for Back Street. If you need a bit for your Camaro, GTO, Charger, Challenger, 300C, G8 or GMT900 and you don't have a Pedders Dealer, Back Street would be the perfect choice for you. If you don't need anything but want to encourage a one of the true gentleman in SCCA, NASA and the performance industry to get well, please come by on the 23rd.
