What are you talking about? Who said no supplier discount? Unless your dealer has changed their minds about accepting it, you'll get it. BE ADVISED- it ain't nearly as much as you think; certainly not enough to stop you from buying the Camaro either way. There's a new thread up here with latest pricing and supplier "only" saves you $931 on a 2SS.

After rereading my post, it sounded a little rude. What I am wondering is why is the R/T MSRP so high to begin with? What does it have that the SS RS doesn't have? For 2011 GM might raise the MSRP by 2500 dollars and then offer a 3000 rebate.

Great looking car. And I totally agree on all the various reasons to get the Challenger R/T over the SRT8. Just not too fond of that R/T hood striping. There were so many different stripes available on the '70 to '72 Challengers back in the day that would look even better on the new Challengers than those new R/T stripes.

I don't like the stripes neither, It's an added option though

Enjoy your new Challey Speedy....I just hope GMAC is paying attention here...They need to offer 0% on the Camaro too!..With all the tax dollars going to GM , the least they could do to help themselves and the consumer out is to come up with some good financing. I hope there is some kind of Incentive or this will be my last GM vehicle.

Nice buy...congrats!! I don't blame you one bit for jumping ship to this vehicle....the Challenger is a sweet ride!!

Enjoy! I'd invest in a radar detector and a laser jammer quickly!! (if they are legal in your area)
Won't matter if the cops can't fin you in the first place

I love that Challenger. If it wasn't the Cam I'd be driving an R/T. Everytime i see one on the road(not nearly as much as i'd like) i get chills down my spine.

cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life.....

Legally I don't think they can but since it is their car, they can just decide not to sell it to you and refund your deposit I would think. I do not know for sure what happens if they "back out" of the "contract".

That being said, I wouldn't worry too much if you have it in writing. What I wrote above is just my opinion of the worst case scenario. Like I said, $931 either way isn't exactly enough IMO to break the deal for me.

Check out the "pricing" thread...

here

p.s. let's take this "chat" to that pricing thread and out of this thread. This one's for Speedy to enjoy his new ride.

Congrats on your Challenger! It looks awesome.
Last year here in MI at the Woodward Dream Cruise ( a very big deal here in the Detroit Area mid-August) there were a ton of new Challengers and I'm sure even Challenger owners were surprised at how many were driving up and down the strip.

This year I think it's going to be that way with the Camaro. That's ok........I'm still going!!!
Just keep the American car companies in business! Buy American.

I dont understand how people can jump ship? Dont get me wrong it is a nice car though.
Maybe I am just too large of a Camaro Fanboy some would say.

It is hard to think I can buy 2 camrys or 4 hyuandai accents but I would only ever conisder 1 camaro.

What else are you getting on the R/T that I won't have? Does yours have navigation?

Thanks
Well, it is smarter not to pay all at once in cash when 0% financing is available. Furthermore, he's getting what you are getting for $34,380 for $6,000 less..It is a win win situation for him.. Great choice and I know you will enjoy the ride.
