Press release mentioned a model (Eco model?) that would do over 35 MPG. Not sure if 35 MPG is the standard fuel economy for a 2.5L Malibu.

Looks great, I wasn't sure about the interior based on some spy shots a while back, but things really came together. I was hopeing it would come standard with 200hp, the sonata based model has 200hp and 24/35 mpgs, hopefull GM can match that. They got everybody else beat, the car is beautiful inside and out.

It's infinitely better than the last thing that they called a Malibu! No question about that!

It will be interesting how it sells against the Accord and Camry. That will be the real test.

Make that RWD and drop in an LS3 engine and then I may consider it. It is a nice looking car.

heck, make it AWD with a LS3 and I'd trade my 08 LTZ in on it in a heart beat.
