I have had similar situations over the past month of owning my SS. People like a challenge I guess. I know how fast my car is, I'm sure there are faster. I don't need to prove it to anybody, especially on a public road.

It is "cool" that a small tiny car can be that fast.

But it's like riding a moped. It's fun as long as no one sees you doing it.

I go to work at about 2 am or so last week going south bound I-95 in Philly in left lane going about 75 or so, no traffic at that hour, some head lights come up in my rear mirror so fast I thought it was state tee or local leo, before i could he moves to my right, guy in a 02 gran prix, looks over at me then guns it to pass me, was going to let it go then said no fing way, gave him about half mile lead then let the hammer down slightly let the rpm's build no pressure on the block, in about 5 seconds, I was at his passenger door, and passing him at 117, was a great feeling leaving him in the dust, don't like to drive like that but sometimes u gotta say what the F!

I hold them in the same regard as I do athletes who dope. Roll with what God or the factory gave you or go home.

Keep in mind this is coming from a person who knows very little about cars, so take my comments with a grain of salt, lol.

I dunno...I'm still trying to work up the courage to do something I know my domestic supervisor strongly disapproves of.

Have to agree with you on that one. I've busted 2 in 9 yrs. One was a Cobalt SS vs. a tricked out Accord which I caught while running Laser 99/45 2 airmen from the Base. The first shirts weren't too pleased about that one.
The other 2 import geniouses never looked behind them at a red light. To their defense I was in a "slick top" but still I am directly behind the one guy in the left lane and they start cracking the tin cans. I sounded like the Staples commercial. "THAT WAS EASY". Once the smoked cleared and the lights came on I thought they were going to break their necks snapping around to look at me. Sorry fellas its my job. 2 young men without their licenses for 6 months each.

Yeah, that area of 95 that he is speaking of is CRAZY!!! 4 to 5 lanes in each direction and usually its an all out speedway. Used to be called the "95 on 95 Corridor" have to admit back in the day when I was young and dumb it was fun. They have cracked down on that area now but its hard to enforce in alot of sections thru Philly.

Yeah. It would suck to have to wash your own clothes, cook your dinner and clean the house. I have to agree with you!
