I was up bright and early Saturday despite staying out in the parking lot until 4:45. I was good to go until I was heading back from the Wheel Specialists. I made three attempts throughout the day to make it to the track, but by the time I got down to the parking lot and into the heat I realized it wasn't gonna happen. :(

Ya, I know you tried. I think there were a lot of people in your situation, dead from the sun and the drunk antics in the parking lot.

Had I not been worried about being rested up and feeling better for my drive Sunday I would've just said to hell with it and pushed myself to go. I was just worried I'd do more harm than good.

Morning! Hey yeah I did! Skip got burnt on Saturday though ahaha. Its cool though. Yeah Saturday we went out to dinner and then we were in the parking lot with Scott. Indeeedy. Sucks you got sick though. We were sick on the way home though. Ugh.

Sorry that Skip got burnt. :( I hate that you guys got sick on your drive home too. I was dehydrated for a couple of days, breaking out in cold sweats and dealt with a lot of dizziness. I still had a blast though and can't wait until next year.

Its cool. Its not that bad. Dude yeah. We were both nauseous, couldn't eat, dizzy. I think we were dehydrated too. Russ was sick too. Next year I'm gonna Skip on the beer and carry around a iv drip of gatoraid if its somewhere hot again.

Well I learned my lesson. I've NEVER burnt before which is why I didn't bother with sunscreen, but man that AZ sun is a different kind of animal.

I didn't burn as bad as I though I would but I still got sun poisoning. Yeah that AZ weather... I probably wont be going back. lol.
