Who said this was a 350 or 370z?
it was i believe some kind of honda but to be honest it had some weird ass kit on it and i couldnt really tell you what it was other than no pull at 90 mph hunk of crap lol.
as far as the traffic and streets goes the sections I would pull him on didnt have any cars near, I am not wreckless out there just havin a little fun on a very boring stretch of road....

Some "rice" is faster, but it doesn't sound like it in this case. Why would this guy repeatedly let himself get smoked? At some point, you'd think he would punch it and fly by the Camaro, if he really had the power to do it. It sounds to me like he's just a typical A-hole

Exactly, it was clearly evident that he was in pursuit because he would weave around to get to me. i would then get to an open stretch and then lay the hammer down. then back off and cruise. when i exited i got behind a semi which was going slow so he was able to catch up to me before i exited. i gave him a big thumbs down which i know made him all upset cause he couldnt get his hand out the window fast enough..... it was really funny to see lol

Not true...

Road & Track's Lightning Lap test results, which was not straight line. Please note it includes the Nismo.

It wasn't a GT (Skyline) was it? When you said weird ass kit that is what came to my mind. That thing is fast as hell. Maybe the driver just sucked.

Some kid in a 3000 GT was racing thru traffic trying to catch up to me the other day. Even turned across 3 lanes of traffic to follow me after I turned off the street he was on. Pulled up next me at a light, revved his engine and gave me the 'whats up' nod. I just rolled my window down, pointed at my kids, and shook my head no. Got up a block and there was a town clown sitting there. Wish I would have revved back and just took off nice and slow.

instead of comparing the 370z to a 4 seater, compare it to the chevy 2 seater and see how it does.

So much for the "Class is over back to work guy" Guess we all learn something every day right?

Two more things to consider.

1. I'm sure most of these "Tests" that are conducted that give forum and bench racers ammo for their arguments use professional track drivers to get these numbers. Most of us (and most "ricers") may not be able to post times like that.

2. The guy in the OP's post was being a douche by tailgating him. Doesn't matter what he was driving.

*edit* I want to see R/T or any of these car magazines do an "average joe" Lap test. Put a regular guy off the street in some of these cars and to a test. Compare it with professional drivers times. It wouldn't prove much about cars, but I think it would still be entertaining.
