If you strive for money and things to make you happy, you will waste many years of your life just finding out what an empty goal that is. This is the problem with the world and our country today. This is a godless, soulless, perspective of life. You are young and need to grow into the proper thinking. Most of us think your way at your age. Well here I am 20 years beyond your time and thinking about old conversations with friends back then. And after all those years striving for "things" I have ended up at the point where I will leave you with one statement to think about at this crossroad in your life:

Live life as if it is a test for another life to come after this one. And in that, use your natural talents to do what you enjoy. Make more of a positive impact on others, instead of focusing on your own self gratification and it will bring you untold riches.

Is it better to strive to change your surroundings to make yourself happy, or is it better to find happiness in ones self, and whatever surroundings you are in?

None of this will make sense to you now, but someday you will understand as I am sure many older members do.

Medical, medical, medical. You get to help people and make money......but care about those you help to be truly successful.

Until you make a few mill a year and drive a few ferraris using your camaro as a golf cart on your private course. . . then true happiness is whichever victoria secret model you decide to take out that night.

Most call centers in Arizona pay between $12.50 to $14 an hour out here. A couple of my friends have signed up as a last resort after losing their jobs. Word is its miserable work and probably that is the only way they can keep people.

I'm trying to get into pharmacy school, however because not knowing what I wanted to do for awhile and not maintaining a high GPA because of that is making the acceptance process a difficult task. So my advice to you is while searching for what you want to do do your best at what you are doing in the mean time, or it might come back to bite you.

Nah, I'd rather have a hottie that's fun to hang out with between um... sleeping times. Someone like Kristen Bell.

What are your strengths? Are you good at math and science? If you are, and you are willing to work hard for 6 years in college, you could be a pharmacist. The jobs for pharmacist range from industry (drug companies), to third party (insurance companies), to hospital, to retail. All have their own stresses, but the great part in any position is that you're helping people take care of their health. In most states, starting wages straight out of pharmacy school are $50+/hr. Good luck finding what is right for you.

Kbeast and Sevn86 - keep trying - work hard, you can do it... I've been a pharmacist for 20 years. Some days I really hate my job, but then one person comes in that I really help and make a difference in their life, and it's all worthwhile again....

medical field

[QUOTE=chicagobulls;3080241]thinking about what to go to college for and i was wondering what some top paying jobs are right now that you guys might have and if you like your job or not.

right now i have an ls 2010 camaro and i love it but in the future would like to get a zl1 and want to know what kind of job i would need to afford that?

obviously id rather get a job i like that pays less but want to know what jobs you guys have that pay well?

if you do not want to share that is understandable.

I would look into the medical field, such as rehabilitation, and or personal trainer.security work.( high end) i.e. body guard
