Thats the fifth time I have seen that video and all with different music, but no matter how many times I see it I can't hold back the tears and I count my blessings and wish the WORLD had more people like this man. Life is precious and we must never take it for granted. God Bless this man. This is a role model we should use.

Makes you realize how silly it is to argue over cars and such things when people are dealing with things of this nature.

People like Dick Hoyt are the reason I still have any shred of confidence in the human race. If people like him can continue to do what they do, there's nothing we can't accomplish. What a truly unbelievable story. I wish I could shake both of their hands and tell them how much respect they deserve.

Not taking anything away from the father in this video, because what he's done for his son is nothing short of amazing, but I think most of us, just like Dick Hoyt, would do *anything* for our kids.
Most of us, however, are also lucky enough to have children without any physical or mental disabilites, so we haven't been situations where we would be making such incredible sacrifices as Dick Hoyt is. Something for which he obviously deserves all the accolades he's getting.

But the lesson I take away from this is to never take your children or their good health for granted. *Make sure* they know they are loved by you, every day. Dick Hoyt's son knows this, without a doubt, and that's worth more than any marathon.

But yeah, I gott add if you still have dry eyes after watching that, there's something wrong with your soul. Very inspiring.
