You got to love when that civic pull up next to your Camaro thinking its going to win

I own a 2000 ss Camaro,it has a Ls1 in it and i have raced many civics and made them look like lawn mowers.

Why even bother? If its a new Civic you still have well over 100hp on them stock, you have way more if its older. Not that I'm suggesting you street race, but I would recommend some discretion it is a only a pocket rocket after all.

^ that, and if you wreck Insurance is going to make it come out of YOUR pocket. Not to mention a point or two on your license.

Currently my car is awaiting an estimate from a drag wreck, a relatively minor one now that I've had a week to analyze the damage, wreck, and what happened. Still

I'm out 4 grand and insurance won't cover it. How would you like paying that as a High Schooler?

Don't street race.

Don't Drag Race unless you know what the hell you're doing, and aren't bulls****ing anyone (even yourself.)

You just haven't met the right one yet. I've seen several at our local track run in the mid 9's and low 10's. I highly doubt that your car runs anywhere near that. Try racing at the track sometime.

but there's actually a pretty large percentage that run 11's and 12's. It really doesn't take much for them to be fast. They weigh next to nothing.

if the front tires are wider than the rears, then you probably should avoid the humility...

Chances are the high school crowd doesn't have the coin for the Fast & the Furious treatment.
