No, I have FULL COVERAGE on the 'Bird. The accident happened on the track. There's no way on gods green earth that they'd cover this. And even then just reporting it would cause them to drop me for 'antisocial automotive activities'. Even though they're a small office and are really nice with us over everything our house issue that it throws left and right.. I don't think this would be good for the bundle. We'd run the risk of losing homeowners.

So I'm just stuck with the bill.. whatever it is. Part of life really, otherwise I'd have the car already torn down and on a frame puller by now.

Damnit.. why didn't I just call it after I spun through first: Which NEVER happens with this car.

I have full coverage and a dealership to hook me up, but I prefer the local performance shop.

Indeed, I learned a valuable lesson that day. But I also gained several friendships at the track. So even though at first I was mad at them for not calling it.. the whole game's a crap shoot.

Sometime I'm going to go back and ask to speak with the EMTs and Track people on staff that day; just to thank them.

Also.. Dunno about you but HHR 5spd SS/TC Panel FTMFW! It's like a Cobalt-Camino with a bed/cap. But oooooh so awesome.

Yeah, I didn't want to make that clear until a few days down the line should the company attempt an investigation. Not claiming so they really have no business. It's still a touchy subject since we bundled our auto and home. If we lose one, we lose everything.

On the AF topic:

Government shutdowns and the like (plus the more amplified opinionated political bickering going on) has pretty much canned my plans for the AF Reserve. I may join, but who the heck is to say that they'll stop at the F136 engine contract axe? They could scale back contract to AF reserve workers (what I'd do) which would put me in the bread line. No bueno.

I can understand axing the F-22 because 100 operational airframes is more than enough to supplement the F-35. But to axe a backup engine is just.. gah. So they just want one engine. Ok. But.. They just tossed away millions (or even a billion) in funding and R&D for that powerplant.

Oh gotcha.

Yeah Skip and his BFF want to join, but that will be next year. Never thought I would be an AF wife.
