Most people that have a camaro LOVE how it looks, including me! Its the baddest looking car that has came out in a LONG time! The rear of the car looks bad a$$ with wider wheels and tires, blacked out lights and big quarter panels.

Regarding the Mustang tech.. here's something you camaro guys might not know...

Because of how advanced the Ti-VCT on the 3.7 and 5.0 is, you can PROGRAM the STOCK cams to have a lopey idle... no performance increase, and a little ricey if you ask me... but it does show how advanced the tech is, IMO.

I think the Camaro rear appearance looks better than the standard Mustang's. I do like the rear of the GT500's though.

Really? I actually prefer the leather/seats in the Mustang...my family has been a GM family my whole life, and the only vehicle we have had that I thought had nice leather was our H2 Hummer. Even my dad's Corvette didn't have great leather, but I suppose that's not really fair because his vette was a 94, they've come a long way since then. But if I could have ANY seats from the big 3 pony/muscle cars I'd take the SRT Challenger's in a heart beat..

In the same way that the Camaro owners dont know the difference between synch and the tech package...there are actually several different trim levels of the Camaro.

The SS with 2ss/rs packages on them that i drove was VERY COMFY in the drivers seat. I give credit where credit is due!

No, It's not a challenge. I could careless how fast you think your car is. I'm just tired of the endless sea of mustang trolls that appear everyday. From reading many of your post, I can clearly see that you have one goal in mind. And that's to see just have many camaro follower you can piss off everyday. If the camaro is such a horrible car than why would you want to spend time on a site that's sole existence to the 5th gen camaro. The sales numbers speak for themselves. The camaro is the top car and it has been just about every month since it's return. You don't do that by being junk. The only reason people are buying mustangs these day is because dealers damn near have to give the away to sell them. They can't even sell the almighty GT500 anymore. The local ford dealer has one that's been sitting in their showroom for almost year with $5,000.00 off the sticker ,and they still get sell it. Their's nothing about the mustang that you can tell us that we don't already know. So if you don't have nothing nice to say then move on.

Hahaha oh I know, I'm pretty well versed in Camaro options/trim levels, I was looking at one before the new motors were dropped in the stang, and I'm the same way with the Challenger because a friend of mine owns one and I helped him decide what to buy.. I suppose I'm pretty well educated in trim/opions, and performance figures for many sporty/performance cars.

But the Camaro I drove was a 2ss/RS as well. The seats just didn't do it for me.

To who ever said "who cares about tech in a muscle car " is say get with the times, tech is important in ANY CAR.

I VERY MUCH agree about the leather. Not only the leather but the entire seats ate better in the SS.

As far as looks, I hear ya. However mine looks nothing like that with the shelby Gt 500 diffuser, wing and black out panel.

I can't find a video of it but with onstar you get turn by turn nav on your HUD. I'd have that option rather than a large touch screen nav in the center console. Also with onstar you get to control your car with your phone. Pretty sweet.


Ok, tech is important in any MODERN car. I would take my 66 442 w-30 that's only tech is an AM radio over any other car. Also it's still faster than every single Mustang ever built and it's 45 years old.

What I meant about the leather is that it all just comes down to personal preference. I HATE the chevy bowties on my car, they clash way too much. Others love them.

I find every mustang has always been inferior in looks to their GM counterparts. I like smooth curves on a car and the Mustang typically has sharper edges and harsher lines.

Hate to add fuel to the fire, because I usually don't do that sort of thing on these forums, as I respect and appreciate all performance cars...

But did it ever occur to you that maybe the higher sales might have something to do with the 'new toy' syndrome? People gotta have it because its new...

I see several camaros showing up on used car lots.. just this past two weeks a dealer down the road from me has had 4 of them traded in, that has been the story since they've come out. I have only seen ONE used 5.0 since they came out... he traded his on a BOSS.

You've only seen one used one because there are a ton a new ones still sitting on the lots. Look I don't mind the mustang as a car. I just don't like to see people come on here with only the purpose of pissing people off.
