I prefer to drive barefoot, or in mocassins, or loafers, I leave my work shoes at work. It's hard to drive a clutch in Sketchers. I want to try out a pair of those toe shoes.

I saw a guy wearing a pair of those a couple of weeks ago - they were brown, and I told him he looked like a sasquatch. Not a good look for a gal, I'm sure....

LOL A few of the women at our neighborhood Fourbucks wear those and swear by them for being on their feet all day.

I have a new pair of sneakers that I can not wear whilst driving the Camaro. They are just too wide and interfere with shifting. I wear my driving shoes , dress shoes or older sneakers.

I never wear shoes while driving. I have a better feel of the pedals without. Been driving this way for many years, never gotten a ticket for no shoes, but I'm in Nevada and I don't even know if the leo's noticed my feet.

I drive barefoot all the time I don't want to wear out the pedals or the carpet under my heel from high heel shoes, also like the other ladies said it is more dangerous to try and drive with them on than off and definately NO flip flops on while driving that would be instant death LOL!

I frequently wear flip-flops. And driving in flip-flops is annoying, so I always take my right flip-flop off and drive with my right foot bare.

Once I was pulled over at night by a Sheriff's deputy because I was driving with my off-road lights on. It was deer mating season, so they are frequently darting across the road. It was pretty late so no one else was on the road.

Anyway, I get pulled over, he goes through the shpeel of telling me if I had my lights on and there was an oncoming car, I could temporarily blind them and cause an accident, blah, blah, blah. Yes, I'm aware. It's 2 in the morning. There's no one out here exept you and me sir. Then he sees me barefoot and tells me it's illegal to drive without shoes on. I was like

He gave me a warning for everything. I told him to be safe.

So, yeah, I just took his word that it's illegal to drive barefoot. I've never been bored enough to look it up in the city's municipal code to see if it's on the books, but who knows.

I still take my flip-flop off to drive

Ok, I have another question so I figured I'd post it to hear instead of starting a new thread:

Fiance sells Mary Kay and has had a couple people find her website online and have been wanting to place large orders of make up ($200 - $500). They send in a check for the make up, and both times the check has been for exactly $2100. They usually then proceed to request that we send the excess money back to someone ELSE (not themselves), and both checks have been from a business, not a personal check.

Obviously, this is a scam of some sort. My question is, should we be reporting these things to the authorities? I would think it could be attempted fraud of some sort, but not sure.
